Wicked Weed re-releasing Oblivion sour red ale, time for Beer Camp among other things happening this week

First off some great news from Wicked Weed Brewing, they've announced they will be re-releasing Oblivion, a sour red ale that hit the market not too long ago but became hard to find after the initial batch. They noted it is available at the brew pub now and should be releasing throughout the state soon.

  • Triple C is having their Summer Funk Festival this coming Saturday, August 2nd. Tickets are cheap and for a great cause. Head on over to the Triple C event page for more info.
  • More Triple C news as they are partnering with Chef Alyssa with a beer dinner cooking class two different times. Class I and Class II Event Page.

The now sold out Sierra Nevada Beer Camp event is August 3rd, though if you are going, I highly doubt you'd forget about this one. While I wont be able to attend this amazing event unfortunately, I should hopefully still have some coverage and articles up about the event with the help of some great locals.

  • Some expansions and new equipment news for the ever growing breweries in the Carolinas as NoDA gets a new chiller which they noted will help bring five new tanks online.
  • Sycamore Brewing in the past week got the brew house in which of course looks great.
  • Last of the quick brewery round ups, OMB and it's new Brewery seems to be coming together with its new steel sign in place which is looking good for the grand opening soon in just under 20 days from now.

Also don't forget to check out our Brewery database, as it's always growing and more content is being added.

As always don't forget the numerous tap takeovers happening all over the area, so check out the Event page now.
